NOW ENROLLING

Research Study for adults 65 and older to help evaluate an investigational flu vaccine.

About These Research Studies

Clinical research studies are now evaluating an investigational influenza vaccine for adults 65 years of age and older. The studies are designed to assess how the vaccine may help protect generally healthy older adults during flu season. Participation lasts approximately 6-8 months and includes study-related care, health assessments, and regular monitoring by a clinical team. Eligible participants may include adults 65 and older who have not had a flu shot or flu infection within the past 6 months.

Participants May Receive:

  • Study-related care and monitoring at no cost
  • Care and attention from a dedicated clinical research team
  • Study-related tests and evaluations provided at no charge
  • Compensation for time and travel may be available
  • No health insurance required for participation
  • All study-related visits and procedures are scheduled in advance

You May Qualify If You:

  • Are 65 years of age or older
  • Are generally healthy
  • Have not had a flu infection within the last 6 months
  • Have not received a flu shot within the last 6 months
  • Are willing to attend scheduled study visits and follow study procedures

About Influenza

Influenza (the flu) can pose serious health risks for older adults, sometimes leading to complications that require medical care. Managing flu risk each season often means staying current on vaccinations and taking extra precautions. Researchers are now evaluating an investigational influenza vaccine to better understand its potential to help protect generally healthy adults 65 and older who have not had a flu shot or flu infection in the past 6 months. These clinical studies aim to gather more information on how this approach may work alongside current care strategies.
