These clinical research studies are evaluating investigational treatments for adults with major depressive disorder (MDD). Each study examines a different approach to helping people who are currently experiencing moderate-to-severe depressive symptoms.
Participation includes study-related care, health assessments, and regular monitoring by a dedicated clinical team. Eligible participants include adults ages 18 to 85 who have been diagnosed with MDD and are currently experiencing a depressive episode and haven’t found relief from antidepressants; adults ages 18 to 64 with MDD and symptoms of insomnia and anxiety; and adults ages 18 to 65 with MDD who struggle to stay awake during the daytime.
Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a common mental health condition that affects mood, thoughts, and daily functioning. Symptoms may include persistent sadness, loss of interest in activities, changes in sleep or appetite, and difficulty concentrating.
MDD can affect people of all ages and backgrounds. While treatments such as medication, therapy, and lifestyle changes may help, many people continue to experience symptoms, which is why researchers continue to study new approaches.
